SILENT STALK
  • SILENT STALK

After being in the freezer for 30 years we were amazed to find out that this wolf hide was still in mountable condition.
Pictured above is an Alaskan wolf tracking a deer alongside a slightly frozen stream.
This scene is set in early winter when a thin layer of ice is just beginning to form on the surface of the stream & all the water is still rapidly flowing below it.
There are trapped bubbles floating underneath the ice throughout the scene illustrating this winter water flow phenomenon.
In this piece we depict the hard existence of the hunter & the hunted.
If you ever have the chance to see this piece in person you might want to wear your winter coat because it sure to send a shiver down your spine.
